Nicolas is member of the Advisory Board of the Africa Hotel Investment Forum (AHIF), the premier hotel investment conference in Africa.

Nicolas believes that hotels are crucial in boosting the economies of Africa. Not only do they drive tourism, encouraging foreign investment and bringing in foreign currencies, they also host important business meetings and events, bringing together multinational organizations in locations all over the continent.

He is a speaker at the Africa Hotel Investment Forum (AHIF) and Forum de l’Investissement Hôtelier Africain (FIHA).

In July 2019, his company, APO Group, entered a long-term partnership with Bench Events, organisers of the Africa Hotel Investment Forum (AHIF), to help drive Hotel Investment in Africa.
