In 2022, Nicolas was appointed by then FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura to the FIFA Task Force for Infrastructure Development in Africa, established to advance FIFA President Gianni Infantino’s vision of enabling at least one FIFA-standard stadium in every African country.
Building on that experience, Nicolas founded African Collaborations Group (ACG), a strategic project origination and collaboration platform industrialising sport in Africa through bankable infrastructure ecosystems. ACG convenes government, the private sector, development finance institutions, sport bodies and academia. It acts as project sponsor and accountable strategic lead, carrying each project from concept to operations with no hand-off.
In December 2025, ACG was granted an Exclusive Mandate by the Office of the President of a major African country to originate and coordinate the early-stage development of a flagship Victory District™ project.
In practice, each district is designed to::
- fill the calendar beyond fixtures, with conferences, concerts, markets and year-round programming,
- earn on ordinary days, through hospitality, retail and long-term tenants,
- sustain employment after construction ends,
- retain talent through on-site training and development facilities, and
- cover its own running costs, supported by a clear financing and PPP or concession pathway with disciplined risk allocation.
Performance is measured on year-round utilisation, revenue beyond matchdays, jobs, talent development and sustainable operations. ACG delivers through three verticals: development, events and activation, and long-term operations. Projects progress through five gates: Concept, Feasibility, Bankability, Delivery and Operations.
Victory District™ is not a fixed master plan template. It is a co-creation framework, shaped with each host country and its stakeholders. The method is the same everywhere. The answer never is.
