Nicolas believes that women have the power to transform Africa.
Nicolas is a member of the Advisory Board of the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) — a pan-African platform dedicated to advancing women’s economic empowerment, innovation, and leadership across the continent.
APO Group is the Principal Partner to the Africa Women Entrepreneurship and Innovation Forum (AWIEF), a Pan-African non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting and supporting women’s economic empowerment across Africa.
Nicolas also created the APO Group African Women in Media Award, set to recognise, celebrate and empower female African journalists who support female entrepreneurship in Africa.
The 2020 edition of the award was the biggest to date, and was judged by a panel of 100 prominent figures, including global icons such as Naomi Campbell, and senior executives from diverse organizations like Microsoft, Google, Twitter, YouTube, MasterCard, Harley-Davidson, Facebook, Visa, Coca-Cola, Uber, McKinsey, Jack Ma Foundation, LEGO, Canon, the NBA, DHL, Sotheby’s, IBM, L’Oréal, Hilton and FIFA!
